Maybelline baby lips (Alia limited edition) review!!!!
Hello folks, here comes the first product review on my blog and we are starting with one my most favorite skincare products to use but do I like this particular brand ??? Keep reading and let's find out together.
I'm a sucker for good lipbalms. Hence, I always in a hunt for finding the best lipbalms in the market. A month ago, I was going through my lip balms stack ( not kidding, I do have a stack of lipbalms) and found this one lipbalm which I used to use a lot back in college and did quite like it.
I thought why not start using it now and see if I like it now and guess what I did not like it as a lipbalm but love it as something else. So, without any further ado let's get into the review.
The product that I'm gonna review today is from everyone's drugstore favorite brand and OG lipbalm.Drumrolls please 🥁🥁🥁, it is Maybelline baby lips from Alia's limited edition in the share Manhattan mauve.

Maybelline baby lips limited edition |
- Tinted lip balm with SPF 20
- Keeps lips moisturized for up to 16 hours
- Protects and repairs lips
- Enriched with Vitamin E and coconut oil
- It is definitely tinted, you get four different shades and all are really beautiful.
- It is an SPF 20 lipbalm. So, brownie points to maybelline.
- It lasts for one year max and that's it.
- It does protect our lips from sun damage but it does not repair my chapped , dry lips for sure.
- Now , I can not really tell what ingredients they have used because the ingredients list is no where mentioned on their official website, product packaging or in any market places like amazon, nykaa to comment on that part but I did observe that it gives that nice oily shine after applying.
- I like the packaging of the product. Usually all lip balms comes in a tub making us use our fingers and it can get messy and unhygienic sometimes.
- It has SPF.So, we get sun protection. Of course, we have to reapply this every two hrs but since it is a lip balm, it is easy to reapply.
- It does not moisturize my lips well and that's the main thing I look in any lipbalm.I had to reapply it every half an hour to one hr and because it is a tinted lipbalm, I can not use often because of the bright colour it gives which brings me to my second con.
- This is tinted and the tint brighter than sun.I like mild tints which looks natural but this one is bright and looks very unnatural after one swipe. I love applying 3-4 swipes of my lipbalm for the extra moisturization and by the time I complete the last round, my lips look very bright as if bloos is flowing out of my mouth. But if you are some one who hates lipsticks formulation and love lipbalms and bright colours, you can definitely give this one a try.
- It does not repair my chapped & dry lips and this is what a good lip balm should do.
- Not ideal for summer.
These are my top 5 lip balms, I love all these lip balms equally but sebamed takes the cake just because it has SPF protection :
